Hi, I’m Brandon (and this is my family) I am a dad, husband, enterprise application developer, woodworker, and a wannabe painter who loves learning new things. For years, my days were filled with screens, code, and digital problem-solving. I needed a hands-on creative outlet that helped me slow down, unplug, and actually make something real.

That outlet showed up when my wife started a simple tradition in our home: creative time.

She would sit down with our daughters, watercolor paints, and before long I joined her. Something about mixing colors, watching paint spread across paper, and creating something tiny and personal just clicked for me. It was calming, refreshing, and it became something our whole family looked forward to.

Before I knew it, I was hooked.

We found ourselves painting every time we had the chance and our collection of paintings started to grow, so we decided to open an Etsy store to try to sell the paintings that we had created, Family Palette was born!
